This is a picture of what Dixon would have looked like as a puppy, in our opinion.

The original complaint against Dr. Sheridan contains the following allegations:

DIXON'S STORY

On or about August 2, 2000, two days prior to Ande’s death, Dr. Sheridan agreed to treat the paw of a chocolate colored Labrador Retriever named Dixon.

In the presence of veterinary assistant Joy Cromer, without warning, Dr. Sheridan picked Dixon up and slammed him on the surgery table.

Dr. Sheridan grabbed Dixon’s hurt paw, and Dixon started to wobble and tried to free himself. Dr. Sheridan punched Dixon at least four times in Dixon’s stomach.

Dr. Sheridan then picked Dixon up off the surgery table and slammed him down on the cement floor.

Dr. Sheridan intended to traumatize Dixon. Dr. Sheridan repeatedly slammed Dixon on the cement floor. Dr. Sheridan then began to wrestle and punch Dixon on the floor.

Dr. Sheridan grabbed a metal x-ray drying rack and threw it across the room.

While wrestling on the floor with Dixon, Dr. Sheridan disturbed several oxygen tanks, causing a potential threat to everyone present.

Dr. Sheridan put Dixon’s body between his legs, stood up, and pulled Dixon’s head back towards his body, squeezing Dixon’s face and snout as Dixon strained to breath.

Dr. Sheridan then sat on Dixon’s chest as Dixon laid on his side, exhausted, straining to breath. As a result of Dr. Sheridan’s actions, Dixon’s blood, urine, and feces were all over the surgery room.

Dr. Sheridan’s girlfriend/ assistant, Ara Arrington, yelled at Dr. Sheridan to stop and tried to grab Dixon.

Dr. Sheridan pushed Ara Arrington away. Dr. Sheridan then sat on Dixon, and said, “Stupid dog! Stupid {explicative} dog!”

Added Note: Dixon had been visiting Dr. Sheridan since he was a puppy.
